Desserts at Cafe Marco - Marco Polo, Davao
While in Davao, before my husband was due to return back to Manila, we decided to have a buffet lunch at Cafe Marco in Marco Polo. We arrived at past noon and there was only a number of diners scattered over the area. Since I was already ravenously hungry, I decided that I was going to take pictures of the food after I've eaten. But as it turned out, after more than an hour of being ignored, Euna started getting fussy and I ended up leaving without getting any decent pictures saved for these:

Don't you just love desserts? I, too, am no exception! The one in the middle is a Chocolate Torte. Forgot what the other 2 in the shot glass are called. All I could remember is that the other one's mango and the other chocolate. Don't know how they tasted since I didn't bother to try them except for the Chocolate Torte which I like.

A really bad/nasty/embarrassing shot of the Creme Brulee. Haha!

I was the one who filled this plate: chockful of Mocha Torte, Blueberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Torte, and Pecan Pie. Love both the Chocolate Torte and Mocha Torte. The Blueberry Cheesecake tastes like every other commercial Blueberry Cheesecake I've tasted so far - dry. Forgot how the Pecan Pie tasted though. You be the judge. Buffets at Marco Cafe cost PhP 750.00 nett/pax (as of this posting). We got 10% discount for using a BPI card. Not bad, eh?
And here's a pic of Euna trying to grab the goodies! Too bad she can't have solids yet!
