Blue Coral Beach Resort - Laiya, Batangas
It's Holy Week once again and I'm sure a lot of Manilenyos right now are migrating to the beaches, nearby Tagaytay, or going to their respective provinces. But if you're going to Laiya, Batangas, let me just tell you, no let me show you my experience with one of the resorts there 2 years ago.
Blue Coral Beach Resort is one of the resorts dotting the beaches along Laiya, Batangas. It was a company team building. We got there around 11 in the morning and we had to wait some time to be checked in. I thought they were preparing the rooms but you can only imagine my surprise (and disgust) when I checked the bathroom to our room and found this:
Can you see the grime at the edge of the shower curtain and the rusting shower hose?
Who would want to place their toiletries here?
And soap here?
Do you even want to touch that?
And behind the shower curtain, a used soap left behind!
Would you consider, even for just a minute, having a relaxing time at the tub?
And that rusting shower head?
Yes. It was that bad! What's more, the heater wasn't working and it took them until evening to resolve things after how many complaints on our end (they ended up replacing it). This was 2 years ago, I don't know if things have changed now. Just a warning.

Not all of beach resorts in Batangas are like this. There are good ones like in Bauan, Calatagan, Cuenca, Calaca, Ibaan, Laurel, Lian and i really enjoy staying at this places. You must really try it. So peaceful and you will surely will have a nice vacation here.
