Cheap Dates

There's no reason for couples not to go out these days. With the credit cards going all out with their promos, it just means going out more minus the expense. Isn't that more fun? Want to know how?

Starbucks courtesy of HSBC for a minimum PhP 2,000.00 spend and Chowking via BPI (though it has now ended) for a minimum spend of PhP 1,500.00. The good news is that BPI has come up with a better (imho) partner merchant this time - Pizza Hut! Still for a minimum spend of PhP 1,500.00, one can already enjoy Caesar's salad or supreme buddy pan pizza. Not to mention Citibank's Free Movie All Year Round promo, which just means you can also go watch a movie practically free.



So here's HOW if you have a BPI, Citibank, and HSBC credit cards:

• Pick your date in time for dinner
  
• Proceed to have dinner at Pizza Hut courtesy of BPI
  
• After dinner, watch a romantic movie with your gf/bf/wife/husband courtesy of Citibank
  
• And the date hasn't ended yet - you can still grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks courtesy of HSC
  

So there you have it - a cheap date but a date nonetheless!


Before Chowking, BPI partnered with TGI Friday's which was even better. I enjoyed a number of these Chicken Fingers for FREE!!! Unfortunately, redemption period ended before I was able to use up all of it!

My husband and I have gone on a number of these "cheap" dates and though a far cry from the dates we used to have when Euna still wasn't around, we get a kick from going out on dates practically spending nothing. Indeed, the best things in life are (practically) FREE!
